Going Back to Work
A few days ago, I was feeling lost and confused. I was about to start working in my advisor’s company. He said to wait at home for orders from the company’s General Manager. I waited at home for a few days, and today I finally got in touch with him via phone. He told me to go to the Pudong Software Park to work… Hmm, it’s always farthest away…
Tomorrow I’ll report. I feel uneasy, times are tough, life is hard.
Earlier I complained about my graduate life experience as painful. Actually, I realize now that being an undergrad was really blissful, and I squandered those four years. Now I’ve finally graduated, and I’m going back to work—but this time it’s different from before. It’s not like my Microsoft internship where I could leave whenever. This time I have a master’s advisor’s company’s project to do, and I’m stuck in it. If I want to graduate with my master’s, I have to get through this…
Perhaps this is just part of growing up.
